Real Oviedo's first preseason friendly in Mexico, which will see Álvaro Cervera's side go up against Club de Fútbol Pachuca, will kick off at 17:00 (01:00 Spanish time) at Estadio de Hidalgo.
This match will be the third friendly match of the summer for Los Azules, as they up their preseason workload. The match will be charged with symbolism due to the vast amount of experiences shared before, during, and after this Pachuca-Real Oviedo game.
A large number of the Oviedistas who live in Mexico will be able to live their team's fixture up close.
It is expected that more than 200 Real Oviedo fans will be present in the stands at Estadio de Hidalgo, with the Mexican 'peña' Isidro Lángara the main representative of the club in the ground.
The fans will join the squad in a morning event at the Mundo Futbol and Salón de la Fama facilities prior to the encounter.
This support demonstrates the global nature of 'Oviedismo'; a feeling which spreads from generation to generation and overcomes borders.
