The VIP area at the Carlos Tartiere today hosted the second meeting of the Real Oviedo Business Club, with those companies who form part of the project in attendance.
The new member companies were presented with plaques. The five companies were then encouraged to provide a five-minute presentation to the others in attendance.
The event served to make the most of the presentation of the Princesa de Asturias award to the Olympic Team of Refugee Athletes. Oviedo-born Oviedista Samuel Sánchez, a gold-medal winner in Road Cycling in the Beijing Olympics in 2008, shared his experiences.
The Real Oviedo Business Club was created in September with the objective of creating synergies with small, medium, and large enterprises through a variety of activities, such as this Tuesday's meeting.
