Real Oviedo midfielder Luismi today appeared before the gathered media in the Press Room at El Requexón.

 

Following his fine performance on Monday, the midfielder stressed the importance of the three points in order to "keep going on this path and contribute more to the team." Regarding the change in coach, he stated that it is not a pleasant situation for anybody, and that "we all have part of the blame, but we are hungry to do well and come through this."

 

Discussing the impact of the victory over Málaga, Luismi was clear that "we have won a match and taken a step forward in front of our fans.  It gives us relief and brings calm, but we can't live off of Monday's victory. We have to travel there with the conviction that we are going to win again. You start to believe in your possibilities again and see yourself as being capable of competing in any ground. We have to go to Vitoria aware of the challenge and with the ambition to win."

 

Luismi concluded by saying that "we had gone a lot of games without winning. It helps when you see yourself higher up the table. We have to feel strong at home, look for defensive solidity, and look to grow as a team."
