Real Oviedo midfielder Sergio Tejera appeared before the Press this morning following the team's training session at El Requexón.  After a win that "the team and fans needed", now is the time to "keep working".  The Catalan reasoned that "we'd been lacking that victory at the Tartiere and it has proved a boost in energy for all of us.  It also gets the fans hooked again, because they hadn't been seeing the results coming."
Analysing the Albacete match, Tejera explained that "a lot of things happened.  The matches stop too much now with VAR, but we have to live with it and keep cool heads.  The team went into halftime calm, knowing what we had to do, and you could see that in the second half.  We were comfortable with the formation, and it's up to the Coach to decide.  We have the players to use different systems."
Now paired with Luismi in the centre of midfield, the captain was asked whether he prefers to play alongside somebody with his characteristics, but Tejera reasoned that "I am fine next to any player.  The competition in midfield is very high and that's something very good for the team."
Speaking about Vallecas, Tejera said that "it's a tough ground, but we go there with a winning mentality and doing things well, because we know we can do it.  We are going for the three points."
