One of the guiding rules behind Grupo Pachuca is its social commitment, going beyond football to help those sectors of society that need it most.

The commitment was on display once again this afternoon in Oviedo, with the club donating 3,500 litres of milk and 1,000 litres of custard to the city foodbank.

The act was attended by representatives of Grupo Pachuca, led by Jesús Martínez. Real Oviedo were represented by President Martín Peláez, Vice President Manuel Paredes, and Head of Institutional Relations César Martín, while Valeriano Rodríguez attended on behalf of Reny Picot, the company which donated the dairy products.

Sor Fernanda, from Las Hijas de La Caridad de San Vicente de Paúl, hosted the group, showing the work done by the charity organisation. The act underlines the commitment of Jesús Martínez and his team to creating a better society, in which Real Oviedo will continue to collaborate with all areas of it, just as it has been doing through its Foundation in recent months.
