Real Oviedo and Santi Cazorla have reached an agreement to extend the Asturian's contract for the 2025/26 campaign, with the midfielder remaining with his beloved club for the return to Primera División.
The contract renewal of Santi Cazorla, symbol and icon of Oviedismo, demonstrates that dreams can come true when pursued with the heart. The midfielder returned to Oviedo two summers again when many didn't expect it, and he has been a key figure ever since, contributing experience to the team and offering his passion and dedication to the club and the city where he grew up.
The new contract sees Real Oviedo maintain the leadership of a player who represents the club's values like few others, both on and off the pitch.
Santi Cazorla will now go into his third season following his return to the club.
