Real Oviedo forward Rodri Ríos today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
You were particularly active during the lockdown, even taking up yoga. How did you feel upon returning to action?
- It wasn't how we'd expected, but quite good. I've been training, and I was active.
How did you feel after Friday's match?
- We have to be positive, picking up any points is always good. We always go for the win, not the draw, but we are now working to improve, while still staying solid in defence.
A lot has been said about Oviedo's improvement in its defensive work, but do you think that the team finds it hard to create chances?
- We've only played one match. Before the break we were doing it and scoring goals. We have to improve going forward.
What was Ziganda's message in Saturday's meeting?
- That we have to create chances and take more risks. He talked to us about maintaining our defensive shape and improving up front.
Having not won the other day, are you obliged to do so this Wednesday, particularly given that you are up against a relegation rival?
- It's an obligation to win every match. This would be a particularly good win though, we are level on points with them
How do you feel after the first match back?
- I'm not how I was before the break. I'm close though and I know that the goals are going to return. I hope us strikers can score the goals.
