RealOviedoTV Continues to Grow

The club's official YouTube channel has experienced a noticeable impact from showing live academy matches

Real Oviedo's official YouTube channel has enjoyed significant growth in recent weeks, having brought the club's academy games closer to the fans. The live-streamed matches have received a great reception from viewers.
The club has streamed a total of five matches in recent weeks, featuring the three main academy sides. The first game shown was on 7th March and saw Real Oviedo Juvenil face Atlético Perines in the final match of the first phase in the División de Honor. The match registered a total of 8,700 views. The RealOviedoTV cameras then showed the B team derby that same day, accumulating 14,100 views. The final match of the first phase of the season between Real Oviedo Vetusta and Burgos CF got 22,600 views, and has been the most viewed live match so far.
RealOviedoTV has continued to stream the academy matches as we move into the second phase of the season and has now begun to show Juvenil B games too. The first of these was last weekend against SD Llano 2000, with a total of 4,600 users tuning in. The B team's most recent match, against Salamanca CF UDS received more than 14,000 views.
These are fantastic figures for RealOviedoTV, particularly in the case of Real Oviedo Vetusta. The B team matches currently have over 15,000 of viewing time. RealOviedoTV is continuing to grow, with these academy matches having been watched in more than 30 countries.
