Real Oviedo midfielder Luismi today spoke from his home, responding to the questions put to him by the media.  He tells us how he is feeling, the physical impact, how he expects the situation to develop in the coming weeks, and his individual future.
- How are you getting on with the lockdown?
There are moments which are tough, but I try not to think too much about how long it's been and how long is left, nor setting any timelines.  I focus on the training routines to make it all more bearable for me.
- Training at home, alone... How are you feeling on a physical level?
It's what we have to do.  It's not 'comfortable', but I think that we have to be strong psychologically and make demands of ourselves, within the limitations we have.  Of course you are going to notice a difference, but we are making demands of ourselves every day, and then we have the group calls, which are much more entertaining training sessions.  We have to be demanding with ourselves in order to come back as well as possible.
- How are you feeling personally after finally having found some continuity after spending so long out?
I really have to thank the club, Real Oviedo.  I had been trying to come back from the injury for a long time and they put 100% faith in me.  I have to thank them for the opportunity they've given me to keep growing. Personally I feel very happy thanks to how the club has treated me and my teammates, and how the fans have welcomed me.
- What do you think of the possibility of a return to competition?
Right now I don't know.  You get up, read something and think one thing. Then you go to bed, read something and think something else.  I hope the games are played with fans...it's very important to us that they (the fans) are back with us, but these things don't depend on us.  I hope it resumes as soon as possible.
- What did you think of how the team was developing following Ziganda's arrival?
After he came to the club you could see a change, particularly in tactical terms.  It was important for us because we hadn't been in great form. After arriving he tried to get the best out of us, especially tactically, where he wanted a solid, compact team.  We were getting there, little by little.  The results were coming and we were managing to sort out the issue of the goals we were conceding.  It's something positive we have to maintain when we go back.
- How do you feel about the welcome from the fans and the Tartiere?
I'm very happy with the welcome.  Right from the first minute I've felt the affection and support of the fans.  It's an honour to play at the Tartiere; it's somewhere you always want to play.  We really miss it.  Hopefully we can return as soon as possible and, if possible, see a full Tartiere soon.
- Have you spoken to Real Valladolid about the possible extension of your
loan, in the case of the season going beyond 30th June? I've not spoken to Real Valladolid at all, but I'm not thinking nor worrying about it too much.  There are a lot of us in the same situation, and I'm sure that a solution and agreement will be found, for the good of all of us.
