Real Oviedo and Pablo Menéndez Agudín have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract with Los Azules for the next three seasons.

The young attacker, who currently represents the Juvenil A side in the División de Honor, arrived at the club in 2016 from CD Quirinal. Since that time, the Avilés-born forward has made his way up through the youth ranks to Paco Fernández's Under-19 side this season, becoming one of the most highly-rated players in the club's academy.

In addition, the player knows how it feels to represent his country. Having been an ever-present in Spain's Under-16 squads last season, Agudín has also been called up for the Under-17s this campaign, with whom he competed in the 'Supercopa Pinatar Arena' in September.

This agreement sees Real Oviedo remain true to its objective of supporting talent produced in El Requexón and its academy model.
