Real Oviedo striker Alfredo Ortuño appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón following the first team's return to training.
Ahead of a new week of training, the attacker admitted that "there are better situations to come back into.  It was a hard defeat to take at home, but we have to try to normalise it.  We are disappointed to have missed the opportunity, but there are 14 matches to go and we want to get through this.  We have to play as soon as possible, but we have to do it well.  We have to have our ideas clear and know how to beat Lugo.  That is the week's objective."
Regarding the upcoming fixtures for Real Oviedo, where they have important matches which could see them move out of the relegation zone, Ortuño believes that "it's an important month and a half.  We have to give value and respect to every minute.  This is a difficult division.  We have to go to Lugo to win, and hope that football gives back what it's taken away from us.  I would like to say that we need to create a positive atmosphere and one of hope.  If Oviedo were third in the table and fighting for promotion, it would be a nice challenge.  We have to forget about the table, and see that it's a challenge where we have to win matches in order to be in this division next year."
Asked about his feelings, Ortuño highlighted that "I'm fine.  I knew that I wasn't going to play them all, but it's about improving and helping the team.  We have an important challenge."  In addition, regarding his conversations with Javi Rozada, Ortuño admitted that "he asked me about my experiences with Extremadura.  We had a chat and shared opinions.  We must create a positive atmosphere.  We mustn't talk about crises...we've got ourselves into this, and it's a challenge where you must give your life to become stronger."
Finally, discussing the match at the Anxo Carro, the striker reasoned that"it's a relegation rival, we have the head-to-head record at stake... it's a match for points and morale, which is important in these moments."
