Real Oviedo Vetusta suffered misfortune once more in their rearranged match against TSK Roces today. The side was unable to find a way through to win three points, picking up a goalless draw in Covadonga.
Jaime Álvarez's side went into the encounter with the aims of getting back on form, getting three points, and recovering the good feeling around the team. The Coach opted for a starting eleven made up of Marco; Pablo Menéndez, René Pérez, Javi Moreno, Viti; Yayo, Mangel, David Iglesias; Eloy Ordóñez, Pedregal and Mario Fuente.
Vetusta dominated the first half and had the clearest chances. Pedregal, René and Yayo all had opportunities to open the scoring but were lacking the finishing touch.
The match continued in a similar vein after the halftime interval, with the B team dominating the match and having the better chances, laying siege to the opposition goal. Jaime Álvarez brought on Isaac first, and then Javi Cueto. It would be the two substitutes, as well as Eloy Ordóñez, who would have the best opportunities of the second half. Merayo and Iván came on in the final changes.
The B team deserved more but added another point to their tally today. The next match will see the side face UP Langreo B at Ganábal.
