These have been hard weeks, full of suffering, responsibility and exemplary behaviour, which have allowed us to learn the importance of enjoying the little things in life, as well as to realise that we are stronger together.
On 1st April, we here at Real Oviedo filled the city with messages that we knew you wouldn't see until all of this was over and we could say that we had won the match against COVID-19. Messages of gratitude to those people who, during this whole period, have given everything on the frontline, but also in gratitude to every Oviedista who has demonstrated exemplary behaviour and stayed at home.
Today, after more than 50 days in lockdown, we can say that the match is going our way, but the 90 minutes are still not over and we have to keep fighting. For those who are no longer with us, for the elderly and the little ones, for those who are still battling on the frontline, for everybody... it's time to keep being a team and time for one final effort.
We are still at your side, in that street that you walk down day by day and makes you smile. Yes, volveremos (we will be back). We are now returning.
