Real Oviedo player Oier Luengo talked to the gathered members of the media this morning at El Requexón.

 

The defender began by analysing last Saturday's encounter against Racing de Ferrol, saying that "it was a very difficult match and that's how we went into it. We did things well and we are very happy. Even though we went behind we have shown that we know how to bounce back and we always show up."

 

The centre back praised the team's league position, reasoning that "with how we began the season it was difficult to imagine that we would be where we are now, but our motto was to take it one game at a time and get wins, and that is what we have done. I believed in the team."

 

Regarding the league leaders' visit to the Carlos Tartiere, Luengo stated that "we will go into the match how we always do and try to win. It's a very difficult opponent and it will be very tough. We always go out there with the same ambition and hunger to do well."
