Real Oviedo forward Jonathan Dubasin appeared in the Press Room this morning at El Requexón.

 

The attacker began by discussing the three points earnt in Ferrol, saying that "it was a team victory. We all ran for our teammates. When someone makes a mistake but everyone runs to help him, that is Oviedo."

 

Regarding his individual situation, he stated that he is "very happy to be here and I am grateful for the confidence they have placed in me. I have incredible teammates and there is a very good coaching staff. I've been positively surprised by Oviedo, and the fans are right behind us. We have more than 21,000 season-ticket hoders, the fans are involved, and we have to make sure it stays that way until the end of the season."

 

The league leaders visit the Carlos Tartiere this weekend, with Dubasin describing it as "very difficult. They are a very strong team, but we have our weapons and we know how we can hurt them. We've played 23 matches now and if they are up there then it is for a reason. With our weapons we will have a chance."

The forward concluded by declaring that "we have to give it everything on the pitch, that is not something negotiable. There is a lot of excitement and demands, but that's how it has to be at  a historic club like Oviedo."
