Following the victory in Eibar, the team is now into the playoff final, and defender Luengo did not hesitate to point out “we are going into the fixture with a huge amount of excitement."
"We are looking forward to playing at the Tartiere and to putting in a good performance. Of course, we think of everything that could happen and even more so seeing how the fans are living it. It’s something that is on our minds. The idea of making history and being remember in a city like Oviedo makes us incredibly excited," he stated.
Regarding the team's mental strength, which is one of the key strengths of the squad, Oier Luengo highlighted that "it is the key to the team being able to achieve everything it has achieved. From the very beginning, we have believed that we can achieve the goal. We have reached this point because of that."
Discussing the importance of Luis Carrión in all of this and the change in dynamics which saw the team get to this point, the centre back noted that "our minds are ready, and we are really excited about Sunday's challenge.
