Real Oviedo defender Oier Luengo appeared before the media this morning, speaking to the gathered members of the Press at El Requex贸n.
The Basque centre back, who is currently filling in at right back, highlighted that "we want to play well and win in order to turn the point we got away from home into a good one."
Regarding morale levels within the squad, he stated that "we are happy with the good form, but we wanted to win the other day. There are no weak opponents here, and we have to do many things well in order to win."
The team will face Alcorc贸n this Sunday, and Oier explained that "if a team wants to be up there then it has to be very strong at home. We want the Tartiere to be a fortress, and get a lot of points in front of our fans."
Asked about his new position, Luengo declared that "at the start I found it a bit tougher, but I am feeling more and more comfortable and I am enjoying it. I am more involved in bringing the ball out now. Carri贸n gives us complete confidence to do what we know how to do."
Finally, asked about Lucas Ahijado, Oier Luengo said that "I hope that Lucas is back soon, because we will be much better when we have all of the squad available."
