On 2nd June, Real Oviedo published an official statement explaining the options open to its season-ticket holders in relation to compensation for their 2019/20 season ticket.
From today *until 19th July*, Real Oviedo season-ticket holders can carry out the operation to select the type of compensation they prefer through the following platform: abonadoscovid19.
As indicated above, the deadline for selecting the type of compensation is 19th July. From that date onwards, it will not be possible to request a refund of the corresponding portion of the 2019/20 season ticket. It isimportant to specify that this timeframe is the period for each season-ticket holder to officially communicate their choice to the club, and is not the same period of time scheduled for receiving each type of refund (which will vary according to the choice made). For example, if the chosen compensation is a voucher for the club shop (which comes with an extra 25% added) it will be possible to use the voucher between 1st July and 30th November. Meanwhile, if the chosen option is the discount towards next season's season ticket, then it will be applied when next year's season-ticket campaign begins and the season-ticket holder goes to renew their pass.

Below is a reminder of each of the different options open to our season-ticket holders as compensation for the matches behind closed doors (28.5% of the total price) and the timeframes when each one will be available for use:
VOUCHER FOR USE IN THE CLUB SHOP +25% EXTRA
2019/20 season-ticket holders who wish to exchange the balance they are due for a voucher to be spent on official club products will also receive a further 25% of the refund as an extra gift. For example, if you are due €100 as compensation, you would receive a €125 voucher to be used in the club shop.
*Promotion valid for all official products, with the only exception being the 2020/21 official home shirt.
**Promotion valid between 1st July and 30th November (for the use of the voucher in the shop).
DONATION TO THE REAL OVIEDO FOUNDATION/TO THE CLUB
Our Club Foundation is now officially a reality, and is another source of satisfaction for the club. While its official presentation will take place in the coming weeks, our season-ticket holders can also opt to donate the refund they are entitled to to the Foundation, with the tax benefits associated to said action, as stipulated in Law 49/2002.
The finishing touches are still being put to some of the new activities to be run by our Foundation, but the Foundation's work will include: our Genuine side, all community activities in schools, NGOs, foundations and social organisations throughout the city and region, Escuela Real Oviedo (Real Oviedo Soccer School), and acts of support/donation/assistance to worthy causes.
*The certificate/receipt for the season-ticket holder will be sent out after 1st August.
**Season-ticket holders who decide to make a donation to the Foundation, or turn down the refund to help the club out, will enjoy guaranteed priority to attend the stadium in the event of the authorities allowing reduced-sized attendance at any matches during the current season.
ADVANCE PAYMENT TOWARDS THE NEXT SEASON TICKET
The next possibility available to those season-ticket holders who have the intention of renewing their season ticket for the 2020/21 season is the chance to use the refund they are due as a direct discount on next season's season ticket.
*The total amount due as a refund for the matches held behind closed doors will be discounted from the price of the season ticket for each of our season-ticket holders.
**The possibility of taking up this option will be available once the season-ticket campaign for the new season is underway.
***The design of the season-ticket campaign for next season will be carried out in accordance with the forecasts for attendance indicated by the health and governmental authorities.
REFUNDS
Real Oviedo will refund the full amount corresponding to the matches due to be played behind closed doors to those season-ticket holders who request it. The money owed will be transferred ahead of the new season-ticket
campaign. It will be paid into the current account provided by season-ticket holders who enter their IBAN code on the platform for choosing the compensation option.
The club wishes to express its deep gratitude to all those fans who have so far informed us of their desire to not claim the amount of money they are entitled to. There have been many such cases, and many of them came during
the most severe stages of the crisis that we are going through. The great effort made by the club to adjust its spending and completely respect the wages of its workers has been seen, and we know that it will also be backed by the support of our fans.
