Sergi Enrich was officially presented as a new Real Oviedo player this lunchtime in the Press Room at the Carlos Tartiere.
The striker, who arrived in Oviedo last night, completed his medical at Clínica Asturias this morning before moving on to appear before the media at the Carlos Tartiere. He was joined by the club's Director of Football Tito Blanco, who explained that he was "grateful" that the forward "chose us despite having other good offers."
The attacker, who has signed a one-year deal, underlined his happiness at having joined Real Oviedo, admitting that Bolo has managed to "make me fall in love with football again." He is now joining a club with several former teammates, such as Borja Bastón, with whom he shared a "historic and spectacular season." However, he is also looking forward to working with Samu Obeng, who he said "has just had a great season."
Sergi Enrich is scheduled to travel to Navia for the first preseason friendly of the summer this evening, warming up ahead of the encounter, before watching the match against Racing de Ferrol from the stands.
