Marta Nieto Gutiérrez (Candás, 01/25/2001) becomes the newest player for Real Oviedo Femenino.

Trained at Club Victoria de Perlora, she made the leap to Real Sporting de Gijón Femenino in the cadet category, where she continued her development until embarking on a stint in the United States in 2021. There, she competed in college leagues, representing universities in Oklahoma, Idaho, and Chicago. In 2023, she was recognized as the second-best full-back in her conference thanks to her outstanding performance.

The Asturian footballer arrives from Grasshopper Club Zürich Femenino, a team she played for during the 2025/26 season. An anterior cruciate ligament injury prevented her from competing regularly during the last campaign, but she approaches this new stage with the excitement of showcasing her best form on the field.

A winger converted to a left-back, Marta stands out for her strong offensive profile and her ability to join the attack. Her physical strength, aerial prowess, and the quality of her left foot allow her to create danger in the opponent's half and provide depth on the flank. Additionally, her versatility and experience in different competitive contexts make her a highly valuable player for the blue team.

With her addition, Real Oviedo brings talent, range, and international experience to its squad for the upcoming season.
