Real Oviedo began their fourth week of preseason training this morning at El Requexón. As has become the norm, the first-team squad started with warm-up exercises.
The main talking point of training was the workout completed by Mexican midfielder Marcelo Flores, who trained with all of his new teammates for the first time. He had worked out with the other latest arrivals, Borja Sánchez and Sergi Enrich, ahead of the Eibar friendly.
This Monday’s training session saw the ball once again play a key role, with Bolo’s squad getting up to top speed ahead of the start of the new season.
Today at 13:30 sees the presentation of Afonso Aceves, before Marcelo Flores is presented at 13:30 tomorrow (Tuesday). There are also two friendlies on the horizon; at 19:00 on Wednesday Los Azules will face Burgos CF at Les Caleyes, before they play Deportivo Alavés at Ribamontán al Mar (Cantabria) from 18:00 on Saturday.
