Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carrión appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, speaking to the gathered members of the media. The Asturians will be up against Tenerife this Sunday, in need of a victory to continue their promotion push.
He began by explaining that "they are a good team, and they have a coach that works well. They don't have so much at stake, but we are going into it with all the respect in the world. We have a lot at stake. If we win then we can move into a playoff place, and we have to prove that we want to be up there."
He continued by saying that "we have to prove it right from the first minute. We are convinced that we will do things well. We will have the backing of our fans, and we are convinced that Sunday will go well."
Asked about the remaining home and away matches, the Gaffer highlighted that "we won 2-0 away (in Elche) and people said that was the most difficult one. There aren't any easy matches. What we have done is watch all of Tenerife's matches. We need to get three points on Sunday and then start thinking about Huesca."
