Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carri贸n appeared in the Press Room at El Requex贸n this morning, speaking to the gathered members of the media. "We had been hoping that the team could improve and fight at the top of the table. We are seventh, but now we need to keep fighting and beat Eldense. We have to work hard, as we have been doing. Things are looking good, and we don't want that to change. We are humble, but excited about what we are doing."

Asked about the weekend's encounter, the Gaffer praised the work being done by the upcoming opponents. "I know their Coach and he is doing a good job. I know their players, and Ortu帽o and Bernal for example are surprising me. It's a team that is doing things very well."

With respect to the end of the transfer window, Luis Carri贸n explained that "the fact that nobody wanted to leave is what I value the most. I see people who are committed to the project and I have been surprised, because normally the players who haven't played so much ask to leave. The fact that nobody has told me that they want to go is the most important thing and says a lot about the committment to what we think we can do. I am delighted."

He concluded by explaining that "I understand the fans' euphoria. During the bad matches I've told them that we have been improving, and in the good moments I try to make sure that they are strong mentally. The team is working well and we can still improve a lot. We have to be self-demanding, we haven't done anything yet."
