Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carrión appeared before the gathered members of the media this morning at El Requexón.

The Coach is optimistic about the team's chances going into Friday's encounter, and asked about the many injury absences he was clear that "whichever eleven plays will be a good one and the players will do well. I would like to have the full squad available, but I don't see it as a problem. This could be an opportunity for those who have played fewer minutes, and I am sure that whoever plays will do a good job."

Regarding the defeat against Mirandés, the Gaffer pointed out that "the form since we arrived has been good, and the team is not doing badly. There are times that it seems like everything has been lost because of one match. It's normal for people to be annoyed, but we have to look at things in a positive way."

Los Carbayones will be up against RCD Espanyol tomorrow, which he described as "a great team, but we are convinced that at our ground, in front of our fans, we have chances of winning. It's a club that I have a lot of affection for, but I want to beat them. After tomorrow, I hope that they have a great season."

Luis Carrión concluded by saying "I want the team to enjoy the journey and for that to help us to go into each match in the best way possible."
