Real Oviedo right back Juanjo Nieto invited us into his home this Wednesday, as he answered the questions put to him by the Press.
What are you doing to make the most of your leisure time at the moment?
- I'm trying to make the days go quickly so that they don't drag on. I do exercise every day. I like to watch courses and watch conferences on topics that I am interested in, and then I watch series and films, like everybody else.
What do you think is going to happen with LaLiga and what do you think would be the best solution? What about the possibility of playing in July and August?
- I think that what will happen, according to what I've heard, is that they want to play the matches whenever they can. It's true that right now the most important thing is everybody's health. The best thing is for us to be at home, as we have been, and for it all to pass as quickly as possible. It's difficult to discuss dates because we don't know how this is going to
develop.
Do you think that the break will affect the good form the team was in?
- I don't think it will affect the team. When a team is united and believes in itself, then I think that this all makes you stronger. We will return in worse shape physically, but we will get back into the form we had been in.
Have you been surprised that some teams have already announced a return to training?
- Yes, I'm surprised. Right now I think it's irresponsible, given that there are people battling to make all this stop. I wouldn't think it right to go back to training while other people are giving absolutely everything they have in their work.
The club's anniversary was celebrated in a very different way this year. Despite that, you were one of the most vocal in celebrating it from your window. How do you imagine it being next year, with a full Tartiere?
- I hope that next year we are able to celebrate the anniversary with a full Tartiere. Hopefully we will be up at the top of the table and able to enjoy it, and that it will be a year that marks us all.
