Real Oviedo Head Coach Jon Pérez Bolo appeared before the media this morning, as he responded to questions ahead of his side's fixture at the Carlos Tartiere this Saturday.
The Coach stated that the team had been lacking certain things last time out, particularly in the first half. "Intensity, second balls, keeping hold of the ball...but in reality they only had one shot and we had the better chances." He reasoned that the feelings after the match "weren't bad, although we are looking to achieve greater consistency and enjoy longer good spells." He then reiterated his wish "to see the good things for longer out on the pitch."
Regarding the coming fixture, the Gaffer is hoping to see the same willingness that he saw against Levante. "In this division all of the opponents are difficult. We have to put in a good performance so that we can look at the (Burgos) point in a more positive fashion."
Bolo moved on to repeat the idea that he is working on with his team. "I am delighted with the willingness, the atmosphere, and the union in the squad. We have margin to improve. We need to maintain our good play for longer. I like my teams to get forward a lot and create chances. We are on the right path. At the moment we are managing to defend well, but we have to take a step up in our offensive play, to generate more opportunities."
Regarding the UD Ibiza encounter, Bolo could make changes to the starting eleven "not because we aren't happy, but because we are looking for greater balance and to do greater damage to the opponent."
