Real Oviedo Head Coach Jon Pérez Bolo today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón ahead of Sunday's fixture against Racing de Santander at El Sardinero.
Ahead of the encounter in Cantabria, the Gaffer analysed the state of his team going into the match. "We are taking it little by little, and seeing how the injuries are developing. We are going to have quite a few people out, but that's what we are having to deal with right now. Our objective now is to win in Santander."
The club has a new signing for the match at Los Campos de Sport, with Koba Koindredi joining up with the squad. The Coach highlighted that "he can adapt to several different positions, he has quality and desire to grow. We hope that his desire pushes us forward and helps us from the first day. He is doing well and can help us right from the first day. He is doing well and will be in the squad."
With respect to Racing and Sunday's fixture in Santander, Jon Pérez Bolo reasoned that "it is going to be a difficult match. Every team has their strengths and if we don't do things well then we are going to find it hard. They haven't begun as well as they would have liked, but it is going to be a hard match. Our fans are going to be there with us and that is important. We are proud that they can help us. We are going there with clear ideas. We know what we want to do, but our opponent is going to do their work and make things difficult for us."
Finally, with a few days remaining until the market closes, the Coach admitted that "I am delighted with the squad, with the players, and with their willingness to improve. This is football and you have to be prepared for anything. If any player can come in and help us to achieve our objectives then the club will make an effort to help us. We have to think about Santander and three points would be important for us to build."
