Academy product Javi Mier was presented with the award for the 'Jugador 5 Estrellas Mahou' Player of the Season this morning in the Press Room at El Requexón.
The midfielder has been injured for several weeks now, but won this season's fan vote for the award. He wanted to share the prize with his teammates, coaching staff, and the employees at El Requexón, as he paid tribute to the work done by the whole team. He also dedicated the award to Francesc Arnau, saying "we are sending all our love to his family. We really miss him. This prize is dedicated to him."
