Real Oviedo defender Simone Grippo today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
How have these first few days back at work been?.
- It's been a bit different, but we are working well.  We have a programme
and I believe we are on the right track.
Do you feel like you are preparing for an eleven-match season, where what has gone before won't matter too much?.
- It won't count for too much.  We already have the points of the previous matches.  We are now preparing for eleven 'cup finals' and we have to be ready right from the first match.
Could the possibility of football stopping once more and the team finding itself in the relegation zone have a mental impact?  Will it be an additional pressure for the teams down at the bottom?.
- I think so, but they are eleven 'cup finals'.  We have to play each game as if it were the last.  We have to go into the matches to win.
It looks like players will have to live together.  What do you think about the possibility of having to be locked up for another two months?.
- There has to be a solution, we have families.  It's a bit difficult and we have to make an effort.  Other people have done important jobs which are more difficult than living together for two months.
There has been talk that wages in football should be reduced.  Do you see footballers and clubs as being ready to face up to these changes?.
- It's a topic that we have to talk about when this all over.  Each individual has to know what they want.  In my case, for example, I want to play football.  Love for the sport is the most important thing, or at least it is for me.  Everything else is secondary.
