Ziganda's side get a new week of training underway, with Sunday's fixture against CD Lugo on the horizon

With preseason now complete and following two rest days, the Real Oviedo first-team squad this morning completed the first of two sessions scheduled for today. The team's minds are focused on Sunday's encounter with CD Lugo, which will be the first game of the LaLiga SmartBank 2021/22 season for Ziganda's side. The match against the Galician club will kick off at 19:30 at the Carlos Tartiere.
The first workout of the day took place on Pitch 4 at El Requexón and was built around ball work. Los Azules began with a circuit to train mobility, before taking part in several different exercises.
Ziganda's team will be back at work from 18:00 this evening, when they return to training at El Requexón.
