Elena Lara Fernández (12/14/2008, Corvera de Asturias) joins the first team of Real Oviedo Femenino for the upcoming season, following a career that has established her as one of the great prospects of the Carbayona academy.

Trained from the youth categories within the club, Lara has stood out in Real Oviedo B for her wing play, speed, and ability to create imbalance in attack, qualities characteristic of a winger with great potential.

During the 2025/26 season, she was an important player for Real Oviedo B and also had the opportunity to gain minutes with the first team in several matches.

Her progress has also transcended the club's borders: Lara was called up to the Spanish U-16 national team, with which she participated in the UEFA Development Tournament in Northern Ireland in March 2024, playing all 90 minutes in the victory against the host team (0-5).

Her promotion to the first team is another example of the strong development work carried out by Real Oviedo Femenino, a club that is firmly committed to homegrown talent as the foundation of its sports project.
