Real Oviedo Vetusta already knows the path it must take in its fight for promotion to the Primera Federación. After finishing the regular phase in a commendable second position, the blue team now faces the first round of the playoff, where they will face Club Deportivo Tudelano.
The draw, held on Monday morning at La Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, determined that the possible rivals for Oviedo's reserve team were Club Deportivo Tudelano (Group II), Club Deportivo Alcoyano (Group III), Real Jaén Club de Fútbol (Group IV), and Club Deportivo Coria (Group V), all of which finished in fifth position in their respective groups.
Finally, the opponent for the Carbayón team in this first round will be Club Deportivo Tudelano, in a matchup that is expected to be evenly matched and demanding, as is typical for this stage of the competition.
The first leg will be played this weekend in the City of Tudela, while the return leg will take place in Oviedo on the weekend of May 16 and 17.
