Coinciding with the celebration of World Mental Health Day, Real Oviedo has today presented a new social project with the creation of a football team that focuses on mental health, an initiative aimed at promoting inclusion, well-being, and the values of sport among all people.
The presentation event took place at the FUNDOMA facilities, where the new team played its first friendly match against a team made up of Real Oviedo employees. The match served as the starting point for a project that aims to normalize mental health in the sports and social spheres.
This initiative is part of the Real Oviedo Foundation's commitment to social responsibility, promoting activities that foster equal opportunities and the well-being of all people through football.
With this step, Real Oviedo reaffirms its belief that sport is a powerful tool to improve people's lives, including in the field of mental health.
