Real Oviedo defender Dani Calvo appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón today.
Having picked up the victory last weekend against CD Leganés, the centre back stated that "they are three points which bring calm. We had been on a bad run, but we were doing things well. We want to prolong this positive feeling and get a positive result in Granada."
Regarding the match at Nuevo Los Cármenes, Dani Calvo reasoned that "we mustn't be affected by who the opponent is; we have to get three points. There is no easy opponent, but we want to prolong this positive feeling. Getting the win would give us strength and an extra boost. It would be positive and move us away from the relegation zone. We have enough resources in order to win."
Asked how many points the team needs to get in order to seal survival, the defender argued that "you always have to get to fifty. I'm not sure what the forecast is, but it is always difficult to get points and we have to focus on ourselves. We have to prolong this positive feeling and get as many points as possible."
Finally, with respect to the project that Grupo Pachuca is developing at Real Oviedo, Dani Calvo stated that "there is a promising future, even if we aren't in a good position right now. An ambitious project is being created, but we have to come through this year. I believe in the project and we are going to be ambitious going into next season."
