Real Oviedo centre back Dani Calvo appeared in the Press Room today as the team went back to work at El Requexón.

With a few days having now passed since the Andorra match, the centre back analysed the current state of the squad. "At the start it was difficult. We wanted to start with a win at home, because we know that it's all about being strong at our ground, but we have analysed our errors and are now thinking about the Leganés match."

Asked what the team had lacked in the first match, Dani Calvo reasoned that "it was about our interpretation out on the pitch. We found it hard to press and they overwhelmed us in the first half. We pressed them better in the second half and our chances arrived. We have to correct everything properly."

With respect to the importance of playing at the Carlos Tartiere again this weekend, the defender stated that "playing a second consecutive home match gives us the chance to make amends for what we did in the first match. We are going there with complete assurance to put in a good performance and have confidence and faith. We hope to be able to forget about the setback."

Finally, regarding the next opponent, CD Leganés, Dani Calvo highlighted that "it's a different team to last year's. We will analyse them. We have to focus on ourselves, though, and on our strengths. We have to go out there with complete assurance from the first minute and not throw one half away like we did against Andorra."
