Real Oviedo Head Coach Jon Pérez Bolo appeared before the media ahead of today's training session at the Carlos Tartiere.
The Gaffer began the press conference by analysing the feeling seen within the squad this week, admitting that "when you lose the atmosphere isn't the same the next day, it's sadder. We have spoken. Results don't have to change our way of training nor our character. We are giving it 200% in training, that's our job. The atmosphere has to be good and people have to enjoy their daily work. They need to be happy and work well together."
Regarding how they had approached the week's work, Bolo highlighted that "we are working as hard as possible to arrive at Sunday's match in the best way possible. If we do so then we will be closer to getting the three points. We mustn't think about the negatives; that would make things much more difficult. We have to keep being ourselves. We mustn't change our character or our way of working. That's how football is. This is football and you can't let your heads drop when things don't go your way. That's what we've been working on."
Finally, ahead of the weekend's fixture against CD Leganés, the Coach commented that "it will be a difficult match. They, like us, have not won the first match. We all look to start in the best way possible, to get off on the right foot and be able to build from a position of tranquillity. Leganés have experienced players and know each other because they've been together for a long time. A new coaching staff has come in and they will start to pick up their ideas. We are not going to look at the names, but rather the teams. We have to do our work well. If we do so then we will be a dangerous team."
