Matchday 14 in Grupo I of the Segunda División B took Real Oviedo to Valdebebas, where Los Azules came up against Real Madrid Castilla, with the match ending in a 2-0 victory for the hosts.

The match was decided by some clinical finishing by Real Madrid Castilla, who converted the two opportunities they created.  Vetusta tried to take control of the match and make the most of the ability of the men they had in the centre of the park to dictate play.  There were barely any clear chances created in the first half, but the home side profited from their only one to take the lead.  Despite falling behind, the Real Oviedo B team did not shrink and went looking for the equaliser, but were not able to take the few chances they created.  The teams went in for halftime with the score 1-0.  Vetusta took a step further forward in the second half and sought to play the match in the opposition half, but Castilla managed to launch an attack and win a penalty in the process.  The home team converted from the spot to make it 2-0.  The match ended this way, despite Vetusta having opportunities to cut the deficit.

Real Oviedo Vetusta will have another opportunity to get three points next weekend against Getafe B.  The match will kick off at 15:45 on Saturday at El Requexón.
