Real Oviedo will now see a change in the academy hierarchy which had been in place during the last few seasons.
Head of the Academy Eduardo Rergis has come to the end of his contract and has decided to leave the club. As such, following his arrival in the summer of 2017, the Mexican has now brought an end to his time in charge of overseeing the youth teams and B team at Real Oviedo.
Upon the departure of Eduardo Rergis from the club, his work will be reabsorbed and carried out from now on by the sports management structure of the club and its staff.
Real Oviedo thanks Eduardo Rergis for his dedication and work over the course of these seasons, and wish him luck and success in his professional future.
