Real Oviedo have come to an agreement to obtain the services of defender Carlos Martínez for the next season, with an option of another depending on the fulfillment of certain objectives.
The 32-year-old player was born on April 9, 1986 in Lodosa, Navarra. He trained in the youth academy of Real Sociedad, where he has spent his entire sports career. The defender treasures the great experiences he has had in professional football, with a total of nine seasons in the Primera División, three campaigns in LaLiga 123 where he accumulated another 60 matches, along with another two seasons in Segunda División B. Carlos Martínez has accumulated a total of 135 matches played in the highest category of Spanish football, having been a member of the team which was proclaimed champion of the Segunda División in the 2009/2010 campaign. Since that time, he has competed, until this moment, in the Primera División.
Carlos Martínez is a right back who is 1.85 meters tall, accumulates a lot of mileage on the pitch, and has a powerful physique.
After passing a medical examination in the Clínica Asturias, the footballer will begin training on July 10th under the direction of Juan Antonio Anquela.
