Carlos Hernández: New Signing for Real Oviedo

The central defender, 26 years old and coming from CD Lugo, will be introduced tomorrow after receiving a medical examination at the Clínica Asturias

Real Oviedo has completed arrangements to sign defender Carlos Hernández Alarcón, "Carlos Hernández", for the next two seasons.

The 26-year old, born 15 September, 1990 in Jaén, has accumulated ample experience in professional football after stints with Real Jaén, Real Zaragoza B, CE Sabadell, and CD Lugo (the team he is coming from now). In only one season, Carlos has played 29 games for a total of 2,409 minutes, and has scored one goal.
Carlos Hernández, measuring at 1.85 meters, is known for his quickness, his efficiency, his strength, and his ability in the air. In his journey as a professional, which began in the 2009-10 season with Real Jaén, Carlos has featured in 217 games (132 of which were in the Segunda División), and has 7 goals to his name.

The Jaén man will begin pre-season training on 10 July, where he will meet his new team-mates and work under the command of Juan Antonio Anquela so as to be ready to go as soon as the season starts.
