With a little over 48 hours remaining before the next match at the Carlos Tartiere, Real Oviedo Head Coach Jon Pérez Bolo appeared before the media today, responding to questions at El Requexón.
The Gaffer declared himself to be happy with the team, expressing his gratitude to the players for their quick adaptation to the new coaching staff. "We know that it's not an easy process when a new coaching staff comes in, but we are improving thanks to the players' willingness."
The two consecutive victories have brought Los Carbayones to life, but Bolo warned that "if you think that you have reached your top level then you are wrong. You have to keep taking steps forward and continue working."
Bolo, who is "delighted with the squad", stated that the group is phenomenal "not only on a professional level but also on a human one. We are very clear that it will be a very demanding year, but we have to take it match by match, put together wins, and improve little by little."
With respect to the transfer market, the Coach highlighted the great work that has been done. "We have 23 players plus the lads from the B team who are training with us, and we are going to fight to the death."
In addition, Bolo praised the support of the supporters in the last away match. "Seeing the fans at El Sardinero was spectacular. We are sure that our fans are going to push us on, they are our twelfth match."
Real Oviedo will face an "experienced" team in Levante on Monday, in the words of the Coach, who will give the players "as much information as possible" going into the encounter.
