Real Oviedo winger Yoel Bárcenas today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
Having landed in Asturias, and ahead of the evening training session, the Panamanian analysed yesterday's defeat in Badalona, highlighting that "it was a match that we should have won and it's inexplicable that that happened." In addition, regarding the team's performance, the winger commented that "we had intensity, but we lost it. We are aware of these things. It was a match that was there to be won. The result means that the feeling around it was not good. We have to focus on Santander. We have to get away from the bottom of the table."
Speaking about Saturday's match in Santander, Bárcenas admitted that "all the matches are important in the situation we are in. The Santander game could change things a lot, and we have to prepare the match well in order to get a good result."
Finally, regarding whether the Badalona defeat could affect the team going forward, the winger said that "we had won two in a row, and now we've lost two in a row. We mustn't let doubts creep in. We are doing things well. We have to forget about it and focus on turning things around."
