This morning, Real Oviedo's central defender, Eric Bailly, held a press conference at the sports facilities of El Requexón. The blue player was asked about the team's situation following last weekend's defeat against Athletic and the upcoming match in the Basque Country.

"We are disappointed after the match against Athletic seeing what we did, especially in the first half. Ending with a defeat always hurts, even more so considering what we did to try to secure the three points."

Regarding the team's morale, he stated: "We are missing a victory. I see a committed team that gives everything to earn points, but it's true that in this league, mistakes are not forgiven. The only thing I can say now is that we have to keep going and try to earn points because we can do it."

When asked about the next match against Real Sociedad, the Ivorian central defender said: "The fans always cheer us on and they deserve more. It's up to us to change things, and we just have to work to turn this around. The next match is against Real Sociedad, and what we have to do is earn points. In our situation, the opponent doesn't matter. Every match is a final, and we will give it our all."
