Real Oviedo Vetusta have gone back to work at El Requexón at the start of the new week, after enjoying a few days of holiday over Christmas.
The squad underwent the necessary medical tests, with a total of two positive cases being found among the B-team squad. The two Real Oviedo Vetusta players in question are in isolation at home and are following the guidance of the health authorities and the established protocols. The symptoms are slight or non-existent in both cases.
Real Oviedo Vetusta will get their 2022 underway when they face Caudal Deportivo at 16:00 on Sunday 9th January at El Requexón. The side was originally scheduled to face TSK Roces on 6th January, but the two teams have agreed to rearrange the fixture for the second weekend of January. The match will kick off at 20:00 on 15th January.
