The Press Room at El Requexón today saw Real Oviedo defender Alejandro Arribas speak to the Press, ahead of the team's evening training session.
The centre back evaluated the team's week of training, saying that "you're never happy when you've lost a match.  We are working more and better.  We want to correct our errors.  We want a victory on Sunday.  We are adapting to what the Coach asks of us.  It's about picking up ideas, having good training sessions, and focusing on Sunday going well."
Asked how the squad is doing, the centre back highlighted that "we are thinking about Sunday.  Thinking beyond that is absurd.  We want our fans to feel proud when they leave the ground.  We have to give 100% and be at
our best.  I've been through this type of situation before and nothing surprises me.  Experience is a good thing to have in the changing room.  We need calm and to give everything we have.  Sunday is a match for the men to step up; that is what the fans are demanding of us."
Regarding clean sheets, the defender reasoned that "it's all about small details.  We are conceding from set pieces, and I think it's costing us a lot of points.  We have put in some great performances, and then they've had one shot and scored.  The team has to improve from set plays and keep clean sheets.  Now it's about winning, the score doesn't matter."
Finally, ahead of Sunday's match, Arribas commented that "Tenerife are in good form and confident.  They are improving, but the opponent doesn't matter to us.  We have to focus on ourselves, on our work, and on giving 100%."
