Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared before the media this morning at El Requexón.
The Gaffer began by discussing tomorrow's derby, describing it as a match that "goes beyond the action on the pitch. They are hot encounters and nice to play in. A lot of things get said during the week, but the important thing is what happens on the pitch."
Regarding the players' way of approaching of this encounter, Cervera stated that "they perfectly know the type of match it is. We have local lads who transmit it. We know that it is a match that, apart from the footballing side, also has emotions involved."
The Coach praised the support of a fanbase which will fill the stadium, concluding that "the lads want to win the match. As well as the three points, it would make our fans happy, make a lot of people happy. This match is about much more than football. They are three points of great significance."
