Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning, speaking to the Media ahead of Saturday's match against Villarreal B at the Carlos Tartiere (kick-off 18:30).

 

Regarding the current transfer window and recent signings, the Gaffer declared his satisfaction. "The club has been able to strengthen. All of the new players give us things that we needed." He explained that the arrivals of Raúl Moro and Manu Vallejo "strengthen the squad".

 

Discussing tomorrow's match, Álvaro Cervera highlighted the difficulties than a team like Villarreal B can pose. "If we let them control the ball then we will have problems."

 

The Coach concluded by praising the work being done by the academy and the players moving up to the first team. "The case of Mangel makes me feel proud. I am happy that players come up from the youth ranks and earn a place in the first team."
