The Real Oviedo first-team went back to work this morning at El Requexón, and Abel Bretones appeared before the media, analysing his feelings following his first-team debut at the Carlos Tartiere.

Regarding his first competitive appearance for Jon Pérez Bolo's side, the Asturian admitted that "I tried to stay calm and take it in the best way possible, but afterwards I enjoyed it with friends and family. I found out while we were doing tactical work in Saturday's training session, and the truth is that I felt calm. It was a good experience, you are playing with players of a different level. It's something very nice. It was just a bit annoying that my goal was disallowed!"

With respect to what his Real Oviedo debut meant to him, Abel Bretones stated that "I am going to take it in the best way, with the support of my loved ones. My friends and family congratulated me on Sunday and sent me messages. I am answering them all little by little."

Asked about the opportunity that he has been given by Jon Pérez Bolo, the youth-team player highlighted that "he is trusting me. I am very grateful to him and his coaching staff. Listening to what the Gaffer says about me makes me proud and I am happy with it. I hope it can continue in this way."

Regarding his positional preferences, the Asturian commented that "I've always played as a winger, but I'm available for the Gaffer to use me wherever he wants to."

Finally, asked about the importance of last weekend's three points, Abel Bretones believes that "there were two straight home matches and we wanted to win in front of our fans. We bounced back and got the victory. We are very happy."
