With football as the universal language, and thanks to the work of our Foundation, the following eight girls have recently travelled to Oviedo: Yoscarlet Rodríguez, Sophia González, Ariadna Da Rocha, Sofía Goncalves, Fabiana Álvarez, Valentina Carmona, Camila Leal and Sofía Rodríguez Victoria.
These eight girls, aged between 13 and 15, form part of the Academia Integral de Fútbol Femenino (Adiffem) in Venezuela. They attended Real Oviedo's Summer Camp in the South American nation in June, where they were selected to come and share experiences in Asturias with Real Oviedo Femenino.
The girls are staying in our Fundoma facilities while here, and are able to share their passion for football with our players. However, the experience goes far beyond that, as it looks to connect cultures, personal and formative experiences, extend ties, provide lasting memories, and spread Oviedismo beyond our country's borders.
Yoscarlet, Sophia, Ariadna, Sofía, Fabiana, Valentina, Camila and Sofía Victoria will return to Venezuela on the 8th September, three days before Real Oviedo Femenino start their league campaign. The girls will take Los Azules home in their hearts with them, spreading Oviedismo on the other side of the Atlantic.
