Abel Bretones, who is an academy product and demonstrates the importance of the youth system at the club, has signed a new contract which ties him to the club until June 2026.
Abel Bretones joined the club in the 2021/22 January transfer window from UP Langreo. The Asturian winger was a key part of Jaime Álvarez's team which won promotion to the 2ªRFEF, before being called up to do preseason with the Real Oviedo first team ahead of the 2022/23 campaign. His good work and contributions saw him work his way into the first-team squad.
This agreement sees the youth-team product, who was born on 21st August 2000, officially become a member of the first-team squad.
